Other People’s Ink: Rorschach @ Fort Reno – July 15, 2019 @ 7pm

Need some more punk in your summer? Tired of battling the DC heat without A+ indie music?
Sounds like you should join Rorschach Theatre on a field trip to Fort Reno!

What is Fort Reno?

The Fort Reno Concert Series is a free, family-friendly outdoor music series in Tenleytown with a 50+ year history. Federally funded concerts featuring blues and psychedelic acts began at Ft. Reno in 1968 as a means of soothing community tensions after the MLK riots that year. In the late 70’s the punk and hardcore sound took over and in the 80s and 90s the concert series was a centerpiece of the DC Punk scene. While the federal funding ended in the 90s, the concert series, produced by an all-volunteer staff endures as a quintessential Washington summer experience.

What should I expect to see?

Monday’s line-up includes Anti-Planet, Erotic Thrillers, and Hammered Hulls.
