“A clever, funny, and unexpectedly poignant take on a familiar story from an unusual vantage point. I went anticipating a snarky send-up of “Beauty and the Beast,” and was pleased and astonished at the earnestness of the story; while laugh-out-loud funny, it portrayed very real and flawed characters struggling with the question of how much and what they’re willing to risk in pursuit of the life they want. Highly recommended. This is the third production I’ve seen at Rorschach in the past year, and all have been brilliant takes on re-imagined literature.”

“I went into this play expecting a clever and glib comedy and was so pleasantly surprised by its poignancy and what a good story it was. The acting was wonderful as was the design work and it was just a wonderful night of theater. Definitely recommend for any fantasy lovers and fairy tale enthusiasts!”

“Saw Glassheart and enjoyed it so so much. Congratulations to Lee Liebeskind, and Megan Reichelt, and the other members of the rock star cast! And congrats Reina Hardy! The audience member next to me was in love with the writing and said, ‘we have a new authorial voice … looking forward to seeing more of her work!'”

“Expected the usual trope of a self loathing beast and a magical solution but was surprised to find complex characters whose dialogue I still find myself replaying in my thoughts.”

Lovely play with some phenomenal acting from the illuminating Megan Reichelt (couldn’t help myself). Seriously, though, she’s FANTASTIC. Well done Lee Liebeskind!”

“Just saw Glassheart, another superb outing from Rorschach Theatre – wonderfully acted and beautifully staged, as always. Not ashamed to say I went home and hugged my lamps, though. (Some dangerously delicious pie may also have been involved, but that’s just rumor.)”

“All I will say is that I shed a small tear at the end”
