“A beautifully choreographed hurricane of emotion”
-Washington City Paper

A group of boys is stranded when their plane crashes on an island. At first, the island seems a perfect escape from dreary England: a tropical paradise with no rules, no supervision and all the time in the world. But something savage lives there – a “beast” that lurks in the shadows of the forest.

“The theatrical challenges – among them very young, very complex characters and multiple settings as the kids range over the island – are considerable. But Rorschach Theatre, a young troupe with no taste for the easy way, has taken the bait and delivered a production that scales some of the hurdles and finesses the others.”
